Petri Kuljuntausta also works with underwater soundscapes. In his underwater sound installations the source sounds are recorded in underwater environment by hydrophones, the sounds of installation are played back through underwater speakers and the audience experience the works by swimming and diving in water. As the ear doesn\u2019t work in water, the listening experience is tactical and is based on bone conduction. In the water concerts Kuljuntausta plays electric guitar, the sounds of fishes and other sea creatures that he also process live with his electronic instruments.<\/h3>\n

A fascinating<\/span> and<\/span> unknown underwater world. The ecological balance of the Baltic Sea and inland waterways as <\/span><\/span>starting point <\/span><\/span>for <\/span>art<\/span>. Life Aquatic, <\/span>the total<\/span> work of art,<\/span><\/span> <\/span>unifying <\/span>experimentally different forms of art, took over the Rauma swimming pool from 17 to 20 of August, 2016.<\/span> Life Aquatic consists of underwater acoustic landscapes, <\/span>live concerts that could be be experienced <\/span>live underwater, and <\/span>visual installation <\/span>that unified sculptures and aquatic wildlife. The indoor swimming pool offered experiencies for both underwater and on top of the water from morning to night. In the evening concerts <\/span>the musicians from <\/span>Helsinki and Rauma performed<\/span> <\/span>live music programme, which was <\/span>related to water.<\/span><\/p>\n
